and in and out again. When I saw the long view through this pair of bay windows I was struck by the unexpectedness of seeing all the different levels and repitition. The house was worn and showed hard use as rental units, and it seems is on the edge of saving and ruin, teetering between the two. It started out as a two unit dwelling, a symmetrical facade of small porches flanked by the bay windows that stretched up both floors. There were probably many houses along this stretch of similar design, few remain as the neighborhood has changed over the years. Maybe this one will be fixed up, maybe not. Either way I got a record of it. But I hope it gets fixed.
