I happened on this building by chance. I expect at some point it was used for classes or meetings that hoped to uphold the three terms of love, honor and truth. Perched at the edge of a campus and the downtown it could have met any number of needs. What I like about it is the no-nonsense feel, there it is as plain as day 3 words to live by, or at least attempt to. It makes me wonder how the selection of the words was achieved, it could have been thrift, honesty and piety or maybe purity, faith and charity. obviously the building it too old to have any of our quippy contemporary phrases like just do it or follow your bliss. But overall, the encouragement of these three old-fashioned seeming words covers what we need to keep in mind.
