Jumping into Monday

The weekend went by in a flash this time, and here it is Monday already. I had open studios on Saturday and 2 big, 1 medium and 5 small pieces all went to new homes. Which felt great, and goes to show you never know when a piece will catch someone’s eye. Today is a clean up the aftermath day, and take stock of what needs doing before next month’s open studios.I like catch up days, they have a pace all their own without the rush of 11th hour days. I can poke around the studio at a slower pace and just “consider” things before acting on any ideas. And then I need to buckle down and get some pieces done. Creativity calls!
