Ripples in water

signature of life.

(haiku by Kash Poet)

Today I left the house early enough to get in a quick walk in the woods before heading into the studio. It was actually more like a shuffle as the path was pretty icy due to the warm weather, but I managed not to go head over teakettle while looking at the scenery. Last week was a polar opposite of this week, pun intended, and this was the first chance I have been able to get out and about. It felt great to get out, breathe in the fresh air and move before tackling the tasks of the day. Beaver Brook’s great meadow trail is perfectly situated for a quick park and hike, which fit the bill today. The ability to get out on a trail and enjoy the sights of nature is truly something spectacular and not to be dismissed.

Now I am refreshed and that is how it should be.
