Shoveling done, driveway cleared, Christmas tree down and out for the birds to sit in, pine needles vacuumed up. Oh, and first storm of the new year out of the way. Now it is time to seriously consider what to accomplish this year. I find if I set a variety of goals it keeps them fresh and I am more likely to see them through. Last year I did pretty well, even surpassing a couple of goals, while not falling too short on others. But I need to leave room for the unexpected opportunities that arise, I don’t want to be boxed in and unable to take advantage of them. So, for this year in addition to the usual; ‘move, learn, be kind, explore’ and such goals I need to add ‘be open’.
Here’s to all the opportunities in 2014!
